How much do you spend on outfits at Christmas?

I usually end up spending about £30 but I usually get some sort of clothing for Christmas anyway so I use that for New Years Eve parties.

I don't really eat meat, although I'm not a vegetarian. I don't like turkey though. I prefer chicken if I have to have some sort of meat.

We put lights up the windows but that's all because we live next to an electrician, two houses from an electrician's son, opposite an electrician's son and diagonally opposite an electrician's mother so it seems really pointless to do loads xD. They'd just make theirs look better so ours looked rubbish anyway lol.

I would have posted about it before but I only saw it a few minutes ago. Sorry guys. They're selling Christmas craft stuff all weekend (presumably tomorrow as well as it's bank holiday but I'm not sure..?) Some of the demonstrations are quite good, even if you dont want to buy anything.

Do you find it easier to buy for girls or boys?

I tend to find it's easier to buy for girls because they have more of a choice of things really. Most boys only seem to get toy cars or games for various consoles, maybe sports stuff, and thats it. With girls, there's normally the same things, plus lots more so I find it easier.

Times are so difficult at moment, we have set up our own business we have such little time especially with kids home. Didnt think it will be so difficult and Christmas seems to be at the back of my mind at the moment, but im going to start my planning again to help me regain my sanity lol i have missed it!!!!!! £30 Crafty Challenge

They're chocolates that the confectionary firms bring out at Christmas.

Magical elves are like Freddo Frog chocolate but elf shaped with popping candy in them, and Mistletoe kisses are these small shaped chocolate with caramel and chocolate cream inside.

I can't wait to see them this year!

We use a fake tree because it tends to create less mess. It tends to be better when you have children and/or animals around as well, in my opinion. What about you?

I had one year where I made all of the gifts I gave away and saved loads of money. Now I just make gifts to give before Christmas like gingerbread and jars of chutneys decorated with ribbon.

I make all of my own cards but am ordering them online this year. I'm still making my own gift tags though. Just wondering if anyone else is into the same thing?

Ornaments new & old

In my family we get at least one new ornament every year. We try to find something that represents an event or trend during the year (ie new baby, vacations). When the next Christmas comes it is like opening a scrapbook as we get all the ornaments out! I LOVE this tradition! I think it will be even more fun as my 2 kids grow up and we can see what they were into when they were little!

Last year we put together 2 play kits for our friend's kids. Teacher/School Kit When the school supplies go on clearence (after the kids go back to school) we picked up red ink pens, crayons, pencils, and paper.
