I usually end up spending about £30 but I usually get some sort of clothing for Christmas anyway so I use that for New Years Eve parties.

Depends on where i'm going. Last year I went to a work Christmas party which was black tie. So I bought a dress, heels and jewelry and spend around £50. I like to buy something new to wear on Christmas day also, so I bought a red cardigan which was like £12.
This year i'll be on holiday so will have no Christmas party to buy for.

Haha being on holiday does make things a little easier when it comes to buying things!

Yeah, it's great that I won't need to trek around the shops to find a dress (had to try on 17 last year before I decided on one!) but i've lost a bit of weight recently and my ski trousers are getting too big! I'm prob gonna have to buy a new pair for my ski hol, so haven't really cut much expense lol.
Does your family dress up in their best clothing on Christmas? I know lots that do, and lots that just wear pyjamas.

At least you know what you need rather than having to look for it though I suppose lol.
We usually just wear whatever we get given for Christmas lol. We tend to know who is buying clothes and just open those presents first and then get dressed into some of the clothes. That way, it feels like a brand new wardrobe for Christmas.
What does your family do?

When I lived at home we would all put something nice on, whether it be new or something we already had.
Nowadays, I like to make an effort to look festive so usually wear something red or cream or gold with a nice piece of jewellery. My husband wears whatever he feels like with a pair of reindeer antlers on his head.

Shoes (New Look) - £10
Clutch Bag (New Look) - £7
TOTAL - £56
Not too bad for three events!
